Doro Cell Phones

Doro Cell Phones

Doro is a Swedish telecommunications company that has been involved in the manufacture of consumer-related software for a number of years. More recently, they have branched out into the mobile phone market. This has been a venture that is designed to address the needs of senior citizens within North America, Asia and Europe. Boasting more than 38 years of experience within this industry, Doro is just emerging into the world of cellphones. The phones that they currently offer provide both 2G and 3G connectivity. There are a few models that are available to consumers within various markets. These are the Doro Liberty 810, the Doro PhoneEasy 612 and the Doro PhoneEasy 622. Let’s look at what each has to offer.

The Doro Liberty 810

The 810 series is a great model for older generations or for those who may not wish to have all of the “bells and whistles” that have been associated with many modern smartphones. It offers an impressive battery life and all of the buttons are easy to use. Navigation is simple and the rather large and “chunky” design is ideally suited for those who may have been frustrated from tiny screens and more delicate models.

The Doro PhoneEasy 612

For those who may be looking for a more traditional flip phone, the Doro 612 is the perfect choice. As with the 810 model, the 612 offers large buttons and is a “no-frills” version for anyone who is unfamiliar with the advanced technologies employed in other phones. An easy menu is combined with a loud earpiece and there is even an emergency button that can alert the authorities when one needs assistance.

The Doro PhoneEasy 622

The 622 is a slight upgrade from the Doro 612. This is another hands-on version which has the ability to dial up to 5 emergency numbers when required. Still, the ability to take photos and videos is not to be overlooked. As opposed to the 612 and the 810, the 622 is more lightweight and a bit easier to handle.

These are some of the factors that have allowed the Doro series of phones to be quite popular with the older generation. Although they may not offer all of the applications and functions of other phones such as the iPhone or the Samsung Galaxy, these units are still ideal for those who have been searching for a cost-effective, safe and easy-to-use solution for their communication needs.
