iPhone 5c

Usually when Apple releases a new smartphone, they discount the previous model. However, fall 2013 when Apple launched their new flagship iPhone, the iPhone 5s, they released it alongside the iPhone 5c. Made from plastic and sporting a slightly inferior spec, the iPhone 5c is targeted at those who want a new Apple cellphone without the premium price tag.

One of the first things you notice about the iPhone 5c is that it is available in a range of vibrant shades: green, pink, white, blue and yellow. While the device is made from plastic as opposed to other iPhone handsets which are embodied metal casing, the iPhone 5c still has a premium feel to it as it is reinforced with a steel frame which serves as the device’s antenna.

The iPhone 5c is powered by Apple’s new A6 chip. While it does not have the 64-bit architecture of the iPhone 5s, it is a notable improvement on the previous chip and does not drain your battery, even when you are using computationally intensive programs.

The iPhone 5c comes with Apple’s new camera application, iSight. Photography features such as auto-stabilization improve the quality of your photos and creative feature such as square photo format and live filters encourage creativity.
