Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Everything we loved about the Note 3 and more!

The Samsung Galaxy Note series is Samsung’s range of high-end smartphones and tablets, well-known for their large screens and stylus input. The successor to the popular Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was officially unveiled at IFA 2014 in Berlin. Packed with improved hardware and embodied in a premium design, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a lot to get excited about!

Like the Note 3, the Note 4 features a 5.7 inch screen. However, the display has had a serious upgrade as the cellphone is equipped a Quad HD resolution. In addition, the Note 4 incorporates a new adaptive screen which automatically adjusts the screen brightness according to the lighting conditions.

The Note 4 features a metal frame and has a soft back cover, giving the device a premium feel. Like other phones in the series, the Note 4 uses an S Pen. Mimicking a regular pen, the S Pen allows you to perform a range of tasks from annotating making notes to highlighting documents. One of the great new features of the S Pen is Snap Note. This allows you to immediately add notes and text to a photo immediately after capture. In addition, the all-new S Pen features twice the sensitivity of its predecessor and a number of new settings including a virtual calligraphy nib, allowing you to add elegant annotations.

On the back of the cellphone you will find a mighty 16MP camera compete with Samsung’s new Smart OIS technology to help you take even better pictures by reducing blur from shaky hands. In addition, the Note 4’s real-time HDR ensures that all your photos have true-to-life color and vibrancy. On the front of the Note 4 there is a great front-facing camera with a 3.7MP sensor.

The Note 4 is powered by a formidable 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor which is complemented by 3GB of RAM. The phone comes with 64GB of internal storage which is more than enough for most smartphone users. However, if you want more storage space you can top it up with a microSD card. The battery has also taken a notable upgrade and is the company’s fastest charging Note to date and features an Ultra Power Saving Mode which extends the life of your battery by cutting out superfluous features.

The latest incarnation of the Samsung Galaxy Note is compatible with the new range of Gear that Samsung is releasing later in 2014.
